GAME TIME BABY!!!

What up Yardbarker, its your boy D Ward here. We have a night game, so I woke up early had some breakfast and now just writing this blog on my hotel bed in Dallas.

Tough loss last week at home versus the Eagles, I cant say too much other than the fact that it was a wake up call for our team. We were blessed to clinch the division with the Steelers 20-13 win against the Cowboys who we face this week in the big NBC Sunday Night Football showdown from Irving, Texas.

My partner in crime with this running attack, 27 Brandon Jacobs left our last game early with an aggravated knee. He is sitting this game out so the load is now on me and my other partner in crime Ahmad Bradshaw. Reuben Droughns and Danny Ware might see some action, they are both hard workers and are both ready for the challenge. Dallas has one of the fastest defenses I have faced this year, but our offense has played together for a long time, we are in sync and we are focused on the task at hand, by guaranteeing ourselves a first-round postseason bye and stay in the lead in the race for home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

We are excited at the opportunity to show America how good we really were, and that the team everyone saw highlights of loosing to the Eagles has come and gone for good! I am excited to show how versatile our team is without certain players, I'm just real excited to go out and play football! Dallas is going to try and shut down our running game and force Eli and our receivers to make big plays. We will not loose focus on Giants style football and we will be patient all game playing with fire in our hearts.

I wanted to thank all of you who have been commenting, I know I need to get back to yall and I will plan on answering all the questions that are posted from today to Tuesday. Myself, Steve Smith, Domenik Hixon , and Reuben Droughns had an autograph session at a fashion store called Michael K in SOHO for L-R-G clothing, EA Sports and AMP Energy. Then on Tuesday, we had the L-R-G 10th year anniversary photo shoot, had the pleasure of meeting some of the finest names in Hip-Hop, DJ Jazzy Jeff (Will Smiths old DJ and co-star in "Fresh Prince of Bel Air"), Swizz Beatz, Wale, Pete Rock, Smith & Wesson and many more. Shout out to my boy Saia of L-R-G for getting with my agent Audie Attar to make that happen! Lets go Big Blue!!! GAME TIME BABY!!!

  hopefully antonio pierce doesnt get burned on every play....Jason Witten could have 30 catches, no joke....But the Dallas Defense is mediocre and I can See D-ward and bradshaw running over 200....

  D-WARD! Kill the cowboys tonight! If anyone should know how much momentum counts in this game it's us Giants (and fans). So while we have the NFC East wrapped up keep pushing!
  
  I've got a question and it goes back to the baltimore game - it looked like we walked all over them and since then the've caught fire. Do you think they are the same team that we played in week 11 or do you think we forced them to change some things and they are much improved? They look like the toughest team in the league right now (besides us). It should be a great game against Pittsburgh today.

  You guys have been literally dominated the last two weeks. I think it's obvious the loss of Plaxico has a huge effect on your team. Defenses can concentrate less on the pass and more on the run and now your offense can't get any momentum which has carried over and hurt your defense. I thought you guys were a lock to go to the Super Bowl and now I'll be surprised if you guys make it out of the second round of the playoffs.

    Yeah Cowboys got the W Bowl, but man with me being in GA I was really really excited for Choice! First touchdown for him as a pro.. It was his chance to shine tonight with Barber hurt.. GA Tech!! LOL..

      Dallas had a good draft. All of the top draftees have contributed to this team in a positive way. Now, if we can just get them all on the field at the same time. Choice is definitely looking like a good prospect. He had lit up two good defenses in the last two weeks. At least the Cowboys didn't give this one away like they did last week.
