Gary Trent Junior racks up points - and nothing else - in Raptors win

The 27 points is tied for the 20th-highest point total for a player with no assists or rebounds. It's the most since Bryn Forbes had 30 in Apr. 2021, while racking up no positive stats besides one steal. In 2020, Terrence Ross and Bojan Bogdanovic each scored 35 points with an otherwise empty box score, equaling Calvin Murphy's achievement in 1978.

Allan Houston has the highest point total without a rebound or assist with 37, achieved in Dec. 2000 against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Houston did it with two three-pointers and just three free throws, meaning he had to make 16 of his 20 shot attempts to rack up those points.

Trent's point total is the fourth-highest ever without a rebound, an assist or a single free throw attempt, trailing Gary Neal and Michael Redd (29 points) and Stephen Jackson (28). Even with no contribution from Trent, the Raptors still out-rebounded the Sixers, 39-34, and out-assisted them 32-29, thanks largely to Pascal Siakam's 13 dimes.

For the season, Trent is now averaging 20.2 points per game - plus 1.6 rebounds and 0.8 assists.
