On Thursday morning, animosity flowed throughout social media for the New Orleans Saints. Multiple sources, including Jeff Duncan of NOLA.com, reported that the Saints were going to release wide receiver Michael Thomas soon.
Clearly, Thomas took exception. The former Pro Bowl wide receiver lashed out, calling Duncan a name that isn't fit for the airwaves via most providers and overall, making his feelings very clear about the media's treatment of him over the past couple of years.
Then, on Friday morning, Thomas doubled down. This time, though, he called out the Saints coaches (probably most notably Dennis Allen) in a bit of an indirect manner. He did not name them, but the inference is quite clear.
it’s because we not yes man so we cancers but under a winning coach we are looked at differently. It’s a mentality that makes loser’s uncomfortable because they use to losing all they career

By the numbers, you cannot really argue with him either. Allen owns a 24-46 record as a head coach in the league. His tenure as the Saints HC has been disappointing.
All in all, Thomas held no punches. It does not seem like a potential reunion is on the horizon for the veteran WR and New Orleans. He will most likely have a new home in 2024.
It is not the first time that Thomas has gone off on the Saints this year, either. He did so during the playoffs, too.
