Sevilla defender Nemanja Gudelj admitted frustration after their Champions League defeat to Arsenal.

Gabriel Jesus scored one and created the other Gabriel Martinelli as Arsenal won 2-1 in Spain. Gudelj's header offered the hosts hope, but Arsenal held on.

He later said: "It is tough. The Champions League is a tournament where details are very important and that was a detail where we were attacking and the defence was not organised as it should be. A team like Arsenal don't need a lot of space to create a chance and they showed it and made the 0-1 in a moment where I think we were the better team.

"We are a team who even if we are 2-0 down we never give up. We scored for 1-2 and immediately you see the team believing again and wanting to score the equaliser. We had a lot of crosses and chances but unfortunately the second goal wasn't there.

"We played against a good team and we showed that we're a very good team as well. We had moments where we outplayed Arsenal in the pressing. They press very well and we know that we analysed the game very well and we showed today that we're going to make it a very tough game for them at Arsenal. We believe in ourselves. We know we need good results. The group is tough but everything is close and we know what to do."
